Why Salt Free

As time has passed we now do it for health reasons. Salt in the diet affects several different conditions. Eliminating as much salt as possible helps meet the special dietary requirements of those conditions.

Adjusting the Flavors Your Way
After reviewing the base recipe ask yourself, “Is this the way I want it?” With you consider a recipe to be a guide you can make it your way. Think of some changes you could make. Adding a more or less of a spice will make it pop or make it blend in more. Be careful of how much you add of the spices with stronger flavors. There is only a small amount of Nutmeg used because the flavor is strong. A little bit goes a long ways. If you like Nutmeg add a little more. However, be careful because it won’t take a lot to stub your toe. Likewise, if you are not a fan of Nutmeg you can reduce or eliminate it. Make adjustments to say, “I Flavored It My Way!”
